Biggenden Engineering Works, established in 1995, is the result of more than 16 years’ growth. Last year the company redefined its image under the trademark BigEng to define its products and services.

This award is announced in the Special Awards category: “The recipient must act in the most tradesman like manner and be most likely to succeed in an industrial trade. They must show safe work practices, initiative, and independent and responsible behaviour, have pride in workmanship and must have a minimum academic standard of a sound in Maths and English.” Recipients must be selected from either year 9 or 10 only.

Biggenden State School students are reminded to have passion, dedication and commitment and to “aim as high as you want to go” at this years School Awards Night. Biggenden Engineering Works recognises the significance of local communities and supports the local school as a Sponsor of the BigEng Trade Award Perpetual Trophy.

Biggenden Engineering Works had the opportunity to participate in the Manufacturing Skills Australia Annual Environmental Scan Report 2014. Carley Hobbs, Marketing Support Officer MSA advised, “It would be fantastic if your organization could get involved. It would be as easy as sending through a selection of images of your workforce individual or group shots, on the job or in training.”
