This award is announced in the Special Awards category:


“The recipient must act in the most tradesman like manner and be most likely to succeed in an industrial trade. They must show safe work practices, initiative, and independent and responsible behaviour, have pride in workmanship and must have a minimum academic standard of a sound in Maths and English.”


Recipients must be selected from either year 9 or 10 only.

BigEng now offers line boring services to the earthmoving and agricultural industries. With the acquisition of a portable line boring machine last year, the company has been able to expand on its earthmoving services to include mobile on-site line boring.

Carley Hobbs, Marketing Support Officer MSA advised, “It would be fantastic if your organization could get involved. It would be as easy as sending through a selection of images of your workforce individual or group shots, on the job or in training.”

The business had already received cost-saving tips and recommendations by having a BIEDO Clean and Clever Business Energy Audit completed; so receiving free LED lighting and other products was an added advantage
