Our range of livestock feeding equipment includes hay racks, round bale feeders, grain feeders, feed troughs, lick feeders, silo’s as well as custom build to your specifications.

Portable Stock Yards

We manufacture a range of portable stock yards that are both functional and durable and can be configured to suit your needs. We have a range of options and designs to assist with your decision making.

As with all our products – if the standard range isn’t exactly what you need, we will build your design for you.

Custom Designed Machinery

We custom build agricultural machinery to your drawings or specifications. If you have a need or an idea for a purpose-built piece of equipment, we can design and build it for you.

Past projects have included:

• Design and manufacture of our own brand “Mango Mate Harvester” for picking, washing and sorting of mangos distributed to Northern Territory producers by Farm World in Darwin;
• Specially designed Fruit Grading Conveyors for packing sheds in Gayndah;
• Design and manufacture of Vacuum Grass Seed Harvesters both hydraulic and petrol driven for local seed producers;
• Special purpose Worm Trommel for bulk harvesting of garden worms for supply to the fresh water fishing industry;
• Special purpose Red Claw Harvester for attracting and harvesting the red claw manufactured for a producer who supplies the Fresh Water Seafood Industry;

Transport

Tray Bodies

We supply steel and aluminium trays for trucks of all sizes to our standard designs or we can custom build a tray to suit your needs. All trays are blue plated in the cost. A wide range of accessories is also available for inclusion with your tray including: ring feeders; tool boxes; water tanks; dog boxes; exhaust modifications; bull bars; tow bars; and load binders.

Hydraulic Tipping Trays and Bodies

Hydraulics is one of our specialty skills at BigEng, so tip trays and bodies are no problem. We are able to manufacture tipping bodies or simply convert your existing tray to hydraulic tipping for multi-purpose use. Our products include: flat top tray tipper; removable or fixed sides; large or small; we can also set up with PTO hydraulics or 12 or 24 volt remote systems. Stock crates

Cattle Crates: Our cattle crates are widely recognised for their quality and durability. The all welded construction provides the strength and rigidity needed for a long, trouble-free life. We also manufacture in aluminium for a light weight option.

Other Livestock: In addition, we manufacture crates suitable for sheep and pigs or we can build to your specifications. Special Purpose Horse Crates: We also manufacture horse crates to your specifications.

Accessories: we provide a range of accessories for inclusion with your new crate including: sliding centre partition; swing up grids; aluminium ramps; rubber coating to ramps etc.; side load doors; front load doors; dog boxes above the crate; rear ramps fitted to rear door; walk ways; swing up legs; hard roof; horse doors; Bump Bars and more.
